Every woman has a story. how wallet to wealth was created.

When I got the idea to create Wallet to Wealth last winter, I had no idea that it would take on a life of its own.

I knew women needed a safe space to ask questions.

I knew women could rise if they had the support system.

I knew I needed to give back to Halton Women’s Place.

When we were filming our initial brand video last December, I had my own fear emerge. From getting sick to getting pink eye… nearly every time we were supposed to film, my body was physically rejecting the process.

Put the horse before the buggy is what I always say.

  • We made the website.

  • We filmed the video content.

  • We got our brand on the Burlington Bus.

We weren’t entirely sure how to articulate the message, but when women started coming forward and sharing, we soon understand this:

Every woman has a story. And every woman has the ability to turn her adversity into her advantage.

I made a vow, 25 years ago after having been myself in the Halton Women’s Shelter.

While it was brief, I did have a moment of clarity and I knew one day I would help women empower themselves financially.

As a way to give back to Halton Women’s Place and to raise awareness, i started organizing monthly events to teach financial literacy, I brought in guest experts such as Priya Ali, to teach the emotional side of money. It soon developed into health, wellness and beyond.

Our first monthly events had between 10-17 people.

Our 6th event was sold out with 200 people!!

But more importantly, we’ve created a dialogue and a community around supporting and uplifting women.  (Click here to join us!)

A lot of women are quiet

We have pain inside. We feel shame.

And we are held hostage by money.

We have questions and want answers.

We like to network and meet like-minded women.

My company Sovereign Wealth Management was a catalyst to help empower women, men and families to reclaim their financial power.

Wallet to Wealth is a brand created to speak to women to help, mentor, educate and inspire women to living and leading empowered lives.
